I joined Member for Cowper Pat Conaghan MP this week to check in on the works under way for the Brelsford Park upgrade stage 1.
Just under $5m was awarded to the council project from the Federal and State Coalition Governments’ Bushfire Local Economic Recovery Program in 2021.
This precinct in the heart of our city is now being transformed into a lively and inclusive space.
Upgrades include a new all-abilities park entrance, construction of a community event space with a small stage and amphitheatre, a mobile kiosk, added public amenities, new picnic facilities and seating and shelters.
