Coffs Coast indigenous organisations are forging ahead with projects to improve outcomes for their communities under the NSW Community and Place Grants program.
Member for Coffs Harbour Gurmesh Singh congratulates local First Nations groups who are sharing in more than $450,000 to help deliver real, lasting and positive benefits to the lives of people in their communities.
Statewide, more than $15m in grant funding has been allocated to help close the gap.
Mr Singh said our local recipients are:
“Local Aboriginal-led programs make a real difference to improving education, wellbeing, environmental, cultural and social outcomes and I’m extremely pleased they’re receiving funding for their vital projects,” Mr Singh said.
“I thank each of them for the important work they’re undertaking in our region to ensure our indigenous community is supported, recognised and celebrated.”
