Red Rock residents are celebrating much-needed improvements to their Multi-Use Centre, upgrades which will help the facility to continue proudly serving the local community.
Member for Coffs Harbour Gurmesh Singh today joined the community for a pre-Christmas sausage sizzle at Red Rock Multi-Use Centre to see the upgrades already completed and look forward to more on the way.
“Thanks to NSW Government funding of almost $80,000 this year, Red Rock Multi-Use Centre has moved ahead with projects on its wish list to benefit the entire community,” Mr Singh said.
“These include the painting of the Centre, which is now complete, the purchase of a ride-on mower which was delivered this morning, and a desperately needed re-stumping of the building and purchase of a life-saving defibrillator, projects for the new year,” Mr Singh said.
“Each of these projects, whether they’re big or small, are making a huge difference at the Red Rock Multi-Use Centre, which plays such a crucial role in this close-knit community.
“Congratulations to the Centre’s hardworking committee and members on these fantastic projects and for securing funding from the Community Building Partnership Program and the Infrastructure Grants Program.
“The entire team is to be commended for always seeking to improve the Centre for the community.”
