Coffs Coast residents are encouraged to nominate for the 2024 NSW Women of the Year Awards, which includes the popular Regional Woman of the Year category.
Member for Coffs Harbour Gurmesh Singh said the awards recognise and celebrate inspirational women from diverse backgrounds across our region and Statewide.
“These awards are a wonderful opportunity to honour the women and girls who are making a real difference in our communities,” said Mr Singh, Shadow Minister for Tourism, Emergency Services and the North Coast.
“It’s important to recognise the outstanding contributions they are making and to thank them for creating positive and lasting changes locally.
“Let’s honour the incredible women and girls who are improving people’s lives. They are the cornerstone of our communities.”
Mr Singh said the NSW Coalition had fought hard to keep the Regional Woman of the Year Award to ensure the extraordinary calibre of these women continues to be acknowledged.
Nominations are open for the following categories:
The Coffs Harbour Electorate’s 2023 Local Woman of the Year, Di Woods, features on the Local Women of the Year Honour Roll, part of the NSW Women of the Year Awards.
