SAFETY FIRST FOR OUR LOCAL NETBALLERS

Woolgoolga netballers are celebrating a great win under the NSW Local Sport Grant Program which has allowed them to pursue an important goal.

Member for Coffs Harbour Gurmesh Singh congratulates Woolgoolga District Netball Association on its $5170 grant which has been used for the purchase and installation of new security cameras at their facility.

“This is a fantastic result for the team at Woolgoolga netball and I congratulate the enthusiastic committee and growing membership on this well-deserved grant,” Mr Singh said.

“Woolgoolga District Netball Association is among seven grassroots sporting organisations to benefit from the latest round of funding under the Local Sport Grant Program.

“These are local projects which will help turbocharge participation in sport across all age groups and bring our community closer together.

“It’s extremely important we continue supporting our local sporting clubs – they’re the lifeblood of our communities and they’re key to ensuring our kids live a happy and healthy lifestyle.

“Funding for local sporting groups provides a cash injection to help improve sports facilities, enhance accessibility and hold new and exciting events and development programs.”
