A perfect day at Boambee Creek Reserve foreshore, where environmental sustainability is a priority.
Thanks to the NSW Government and a commitment to preserving public recreational spaces, Reflections Holiday Parks has completed beach nourishment works at the Reserve to combat the effects of erosion, which has plagued the foreshore in recent years.
I joined Reflections Mid North Coast operations manager Allan Thomas to celebrate this achievement and discuss the next stage of this grant-funded project to investigate long-term erosion strategies.
Reflections was successful in receiving a grant of $86,075 from the NSW Government’s Crown Reserves Improvement Fund towards short and long term options for the remediation to the Boambee Creek Reserve foreshore area.
