A Coffs Coast school community is cheering its success in the NSW Community Building Partnership program with a $28,000 grant.
Member for Coffs Harbour Gurmesh Singh congratulates Aspect Macarthur School on a successful funding application for their playground equipment project.
“This is wonderful news for the school which is looking forward to their exciting upgrade,” Mr Singh said.
“It means they can now go ahead with the purchase of autism-specific playground equipment and softfall for autistic students.
“The playground improvements will bring enormous benefits for the students and I’m extremely pleased they can now proceed.
“I look forward to seeing this project taking shape.”
The Aspect Macarthur School is among 13 Coffs Coast recipients sharing in $300,000 in funding under this latest round of the Community Building Partnership Program.
“This is all about grassroots funding helping to create a more vibrant and inclusive local community with positive social and recreational outcomes,” Mr Singh said.
